| Our Staff Tom Farrell – Executive Director Tom joined the Wildewood Downs team bringing with him years of experience in the hospitality and resort industry. As Executive Director, Tom manages the day-to-day operations of each Independent Living Department in an effort to keep our community growing and changing to meet the needs of our Residents. “It’s a pleasure to be associated with a group of professionals dedicated to the service and care of the Wildewood Downs residents. Everyday is rewarding and interesting. Our goal is to continually improve our community and services in order to exceed expectations.” - Tom Farrell Julie Patterson – Director of Sales and Marketing Julie joined our team in 2006 with an enthusiastic personality and a genuine love for people and sales. Julie is responsible for all marketing and advertising, construction of new homes and apartments, sales of homes and apartments and managing the marketing staff. “I have never been more aware of what an impact our attitude has on our lives. This I have learned form the wonderful residents at Wildewood Downs who enrich my life everyday.” – Julie Patterson Phyllis Thomas – Director of Administration Phyllis has been a part of the Wildewood Downs executive team since 2001. She is responsible for maintaining all administrative, financial and accounting matters of the campus and interfaces with the corporate office staff, accounting personnel and officers in promoting fiscal responsibility within the campus. With her business background in the senior care industry, she makes sure Wildewood Downs runs smoothly. “I enjoy very much being a part of the staff at Wildewood Downs and contributing to the comfort, security, and happiness of our residents.” – Phyllis Thomas Keba Hardy – Human Resource Manager Keba joined our Wildewood Downs executive team in 2012. She is responsible for all aspects of Human Resources. This includes, but is not limited to: recruiting, hiring, training, coaching, discipline, payroll and benefits administration. “It is a privilege to work at such a wonderful and beautiful place. I enjoy getting to know the residents and working with the employees to make Wildewood Downs the most successful Continuing Care Retirement Community there is.” - Keba Hardy Sandy Williamson – Social Director, Independent Living Sandy joined our team in 2011. She has the positive outlook, enthusiasm and drive to get our Residents physically, mentally, and socially involved. Sandy has many years of experience in management, event planning, and senior care. She provides a continuous flow of activities, entertainment, outings, lectures, and seminars. “Being a part of the Wildewood Downs team is a blessing. I work with caring professionals who are always ready to help in any way. Getting to know our Residents and helping them enjoy each day is truly an awesome experience.” - Sandy Williamson Tim Corley – Maintenance Director Tim joined the Wildewood Downs team in 2005. He is a master electrician and is experienced in all facets of building maintenance. Tim is responsible for keeping all systems in our community running smoothly. He manages a full staff of technicians who take care of all the indoor and outdoor maintenance needs throughout our 37 acre campus. Tim’s upbeat personality and professionalism make him a valuable part of our management team. “I love working here. The atmosphere is happy and I really appreciate helping the residents.” - Tim Corley Larry Wingate – Dining Room Manager Larry has been serving smiles in the dining room since 2000. He is responsible for each resident’s dining experience and with his background in catering and special events coordination, he is able to provide families with a special dining occasion. Larry manages a professional wait staff that ensures each event is unique and residents and guests enjoy a meal to remember. “I, along with my staff, look forward to turning each nightly treat into a dining event.” - Larry Wingate Dan Ewing – Executive Chef Chef Ewing brings over 25 years culinary experience to Wildewood Downs from Atlanta, Charlotte & Charleston. He has worked in 5-star restaurants, hotels and country clubs and brings his fine dining flair to the Residents at Wildewood Downs each night. “I enjoy feedback I get from the Residents on the menus. It is nice to be able to know that your food is being enjoyed on a nightly basis.” - Dan Ewing Healthcare Management Stephanie Studnicka – Executive Director of Healthcare Operations Stephanie received her nursing degree from the University of South Carolina in 1993 and has specialized in critical care and geriatric nursing for 19 years. Among her various positions throughout her nursing career, Stephanie has been a Director of Nursing for 12 years and as Executive Director of Healthcare Operations, she now oversees the day to day operations of our healthcare center. “I consider it an honor and privilege to be able to serve the residents of Wildewood Downs. I have gained a wealth of knowledge from the relationships I have formed with the residents and families that I interact with each day. I have enjoyed my time here and I am very fortunate to work with such wonderful people.” - Stephanie Studnicka Chris Kent – Director of Nursing Chris brings with her 33 years of experience in nursing. Many of those years, Chris was a Long Term Care Surveyor for the State of South Carolina. She is responsible for managing the staff and over seeing the operations in Long Term Skilled Nursing Care and Rehabilitation. Leanne Hilliard – Admissions & Marketing Director Leanne joined Wildewood Downs in the spring of 2006. Leanne has spent the last 10 years working with seniors and their families with several years working on a Geriatric Alzheimer’s unit. Her main focus at Wildewood Downs is to keep the healthcare side of the campus booming while keeping the residents and their families happy. “I consider it a privilege to work with so many wonderful seniors and their families while they face some of the most difficult decisions in their loved one’s lives. My job is to ensure a “country club” lifestyle while making sure they get the best when it comes to their healthcare needs.” - Leanne Hilliard Sharon E. Mitchell ADC, BS – Certified Activities Director Sharon has been a part of the Wildewood Downs healthcare team since 2006. She is responsible for all activity programming for Assisted Living, Short Term Rehabilitation and Long term care. “Our activity motto is to Live Life with Passion and in Service, striving to plant seeds of Happiness in the Lives of Others.” - Sharon Mitchell |
